Sweeten Up Math Class with Valentine’s Day Fun!

Hey friends,

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to mix some love into your math lessons! 💖 I’ve put together a few fun, Valentine’s-themed activities to engage your students and make learning extra sweet.

Valentine’s Day Math Activities

  1. Heart-Shaped Fractions: Use heart templates to teach fractions. Have students color sections of the hearts and write the corresponding fractions.
  2. Candy Count Graphing: Provide candy hearts or similar treats and have students graph the different colors, analyze the data, and calculate percentages.
  3. Math Love Letters: Create word problems with a Valentine’s Day twist, like figuring out the total cost of Valentine’s cards or the distance Cupid has to travel.

Festive Shirts: Looking for something festive and math related to wear that is sure to get some eye rolls from your students? Check out this and this!
